Supp Lil' Scrappy this iz Frankie (I'm a male) from Northeast Pennsylvania, originally from Long Island, New York. I've been on your message board since January 26, 2004 and I'm still always on here!
In my opinion, here's my feedback: Most of the people talk good stuff about you on here. Your new single "Money In The Bank" iz tight. I'm probably gonna have to put it back on my playlist after it has taken a 4 month break (wanted to wait 'til it got more airplay to bring it back). The video iz HOT tho. The only thing I don't like in it iz the G-Unit references (ex: you yell "G-Unit" in the beginning and on the bridge you say "50 got me..." I don't like that). The difference between being real and being hard? Well I like both, but I always think that "Head Bussa" was your best song!! It was REAL CRUNK, lyrics were ON POINT, and the whole song was just CRAZY!! #1 on my Top 10 Countdown (of my 10 favorite songs out right now) 51 times in a row back in Winter 2003/2004, and I don't think that record WILL EVER BE BROKEN!!! The G-Unit BME thing? Well in my opinion, I really don't like G-Unit (especially 50 Cent; he beefs with like everyone and makes all these "pop" songs). Lloyd Banks I don't really like listenin' to, but Young Buck iz okay. I don't mind him. Tony Yayo I don't really like. You...I don't think you fit with G-Unit. You may fit with Young Buck, but you don't fit with the whole G-Unit... that's going overboard with things. BME iz your #1 label and make sure you stay wit it! BME has hot shyt like you and Bohagon! And yeah, I hope to talk to you real soon! - Frankie ----- Trillville & Lil' Scrappy R AWESOME! The single 'Money In The Bank' is definitely hot. It's a song that you could get amped to in the club, and also just chill to when driving around.
As far as the G-Unit thing, I think it's a good move, publicity wise. It'll help sell more records cause a lot of people love G-Unit. P.S. Banks is the best rapper in G-Unit. |

Scrappy, if this is really you, please give me a shout. I would love to talk to you.

Mobb Deep sold A LOT LESS records thanx to signin' wit Gay Unit, sadly, and their previous album "Amerikaz Nightmare" was 1203412381209x better and I didn't even hear their most recent album (it figures about 6 tracks were played on Music Choice Rap). I think the same issue iz going to happen to Lil' Scrappy (no offense, although I wish you the BEST in luck). Previous album with Trillville iz gonna be better, and this new album will not sell more, even tho I hope it does, I just don't think it will (no offense), due to goin' wit Gay Unit. ----- Trillville & Lil' Scrappy R AWESOME! " Money In The Bank " is tight. The beat is nice and the lyrics is straight.
The difference between being real and hard? I'm not really completely sure how to answer this question. Soo My Fault. The G-Unit/BME Thing.. to be honest, I don't really like G-Unit (except a couple artists). They pretty much stay in beef so I think that might give you some problems with getting on some collabs with certain artists. But because of some of the connections they have, they could help you get on some collabs with the connections (sorry if that's in any way confusing). So I'm not really sure. I'm just hoping, your situation don't turn out like the whole Mobb Deep thing. Stay Up & Don't Let The Hate Bring You Down |

Thank you!!!! |

Scrap, I know there's a lot of haters out there because of the low sales week. A lot of people are frowning on you for being associated with G-Unit. There's nothing wrong with G-Unit or with you for your association. The public has just turned on 50 like they do with most rappers that have been in the game long enough. I'm a pretty good judge of character and I think Fif is a good guy. I think The Game made him look bad(internal conflict is never a good thing) and that The Game is not exactly the most loyal person. But, there's nothing wrong with Fif or with G-Unit as a whole.
I'm glad that you are working outside of the realm of the "A". Don't get pidgeon-holed into be in just an Atlanta rapper...leave that for Ying-Yang. You have the potential to become a global celebrity. A superstar. It's obvious. That's what Fif saw in you in the first place so don't get discouraged if this album doesn't hit platinum, it is just a stepping stone. At a minimum, you will have a gold plaque on the wall. I like the album, but I think I would love it if there were a few more choice beats. I know that beats are expensive, but the returns for a classic album far outweigh the costs. You have classics in you. My only suggestion to you is to keep working with new people. Lil Jon is your ace, but I think David Banner and Swizz Beats are also good fits for you. I think Swizz can do for you what he did for T.I.. Tip was underground 'til "Bring 'Em Out". Scrap stay true to yourself and know that there are people out here who care about you. I appreciate your openness and your humility. Don't let the haters get the best of you and always take care of the streets first. Darrick "I'm the wildest young nigga in the A!" |

Scrap, I have ta say this is yo best shit...best out of your first album & your mixtapes..the only down point to the cd is the beat on "Gangsta Gangsta" i think you could of got somthing more slow & crunk and it would of killed it more. All these people hating on g-unit, well sorry to frankie(no disrespect) but its proved now that this cd has sold more now. But also look at this, cut half of the sales for the first cd since it was half scrap/half trillville, now look at scraps half on that cd & look at this cd's sales....point proven...G-unit has alot of things to give scrap, real reconizes real, yall hate 50 cent, why, he makin money, tearing apart rappers left and right (jadakiss, cam, roc, game...etc)and is making movies, games, now signing a book deal to start "G-Unit Books" but yall telling me if you didnt have the chance to do all this, you wouldnt?
Now on the being hard & being real, where im from if your hard, no one wants to fight, talk shit or anything to you cause you got hands or got alot of dudes...which from what i heard thats you scrap...then there is being real, telling the truth..scrap you talk about you & your momz hustlin to make it thru bad tymez...well i dunno about others but i feel ya, thats what being real means, stay the way you are scrap. i dont give a fuck if your wit g-unit or you move to MCA or The Roc or whatever you got a fan right here just stay the way you are and thats "being real...real hard" GZ UP GET YO CHEESE UP NUCCA WHAT! |
